If you can't accept me for who I am,
Then why should I care or even give a damn.
It's amazing to me that you think you're all that,
Yet everyone talks about you behind your back.

You judge everyone before a word is said,
Before you even met me, I was labeled in your head.
People get lost in your superficiality,
You don't let them show their individuality.

Drop your fašade of beguiling finesse,
Put your character up to this one last test,
Let your guard down, for just a single moment,
Open up your mind and don't try to ignore it.

Try to break away from your everyday tradition,
And put yourself in my unwanted disposition,
For certain they will judge you, before you get the chance,
To say a single word or get a second glance.

Always remember, before you judge others,
Look what's inside, don't judge by covers,
Remember that inside is a person like you,
A person that can relate, who's been there, too.

Great individuality
That is a great poem, not only because it is so well written, but because the thoughts behind its conception are so close to me. I like that fierce expression of individuality....keep up the good thoughts.
