A wonderful warm golden
light is pouring in through
the window - so warm, in fact,
the cat is bathing in it on the floor
in such utter tranquility
you're almost envious.

October Sunrise
know that feeling, would be nice sometimes just to mindlessly appreciate the sunshine of the moment. Nice slice of time here, nice slice of sunrise.

warmth infurred
I need a big bay window to emulate that cat behavior- I can blame it on the need for vitamin D... I admire and identify with this.

What Do You Mean "Almost"?
Excellent observation. I relate more than I'm comfortable admitting.

Surprised again
You always have a little surprise for us -- the humor (your humor) is so mundane and obvious it outshines the sophisticated "fine china" of other poetic notions we look for -- like people hunting through antique shops for that perfect find - then you put something like this in front of us and we say "now that would look great on the shelf by the beer steins"..

Nice work, and I am again inspired.

cats
I see you have an affinity for cats too. Simply stated, but catches the 'warmth' of the moment. I sometimes wonder what cats think all day when they're lying around soaking up the sun. Maybe they're thinking about dinner or the next big bird hunt. And I do envy their style of living. Why couldn't we all just sleep all day without a care?
