As I walked alone,
on the darkened path
toward my home.

I came to a crossroad...

Upon which trail should
I go?

The wide one looked
tempting,
and the narrow one
seemed hardly tread
upon.
So I chose it for my
very own.

The way is hard and the
road is long,
But this one path will
take me to my home.

The going some days seem to
be all up hill,
but the footprints I see beside
makes my shaking hands go
still.

For Jesus is my guide,
to help me through this life
sometimes filled with worry and
pain,
if not for his love I would surely
go insane.

So when the tears come and I feel
like giving up,
I know that some day I will drink
from his cup.

two roads...
granted a couple years has gone by since this has been placed here... but heck if it still isnt very touching for me. very much so does it remind me of robert frost.. and two roads diverging in the woods... and very much so has it rung true to home for me.. as i have made some difficult decisions lately in life. i can only pray that the path i am chosing right now... will take me home.
