Another day,another daydream
A world so perfect it would seem
She'd appear with a bright big smile
Taking away his worries for a while

The young couple looked so content
Their love no problems could ever dent
To live their dreams; grow old together
Soothed by warm fire; caressed with a bird's feather

But now she's gone and he's broken
Looking distant into the wilderness no words spoken
A hole so big; unnervingly leaving a void
Cupid's young love was suddenly destroyed.
