I never thought I'd feel this again,
My heart beating,
My muscles weakening,
And my insides turning.
The sound of your voice
Sends me into oblivion.
Seeing you,
Just makes me feel the world
Is still a good place to be.
In the midst of turmoil, I see
Your face speaking to me.
I close my eyes and imagine
The tenderness of your touch,
As I'd never known.
I never thought I'd see you
This way, as a person I could love.
I see it in your eyes, even if you haven't
Said the words.
I sense it in your tone,
And I feel the same way too.
The sparks fly in my eyes at the mention
Of your name.
And when I speak of you,
It feels like honey dew has rested on my
Lips and dripped into my spirit.
You are….
…… just
………my imagination.

"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding" Khalil Gibran, The Prophet
