Crimson scarlet patches the sky,
A bleeding rose blooms
Like fresh wound
Upon a burdened soul
As windswept cloud streaks,
Flitting among diminishing twilight.
The night silently creeps,
A knife through the light of day.
Luminescence of the sphere
From my sight darkens,
Sinking westward.
Shadowed deep.
The heart of morn,
Waiting resurrection,
Darkness homes the light,
‘Till dawn.
Duality transcends all thoughts
A heavenly bliss
From Dionysus’ cup of wine
From such as this
Life comes through
Though at the end of day,
Light ebbs away.
Fragile softness
Petrifies the cold.
Chill dust winds blow
Across a blackened rose.
The final curtain drops,
This black envelope seals.
I shed a salty tear
Which I cannot see
Touch the ground,
Haunting anomalies.
In a sea of space
I waken to light.
This earth my home,
My place,
The soil, now lays there
In its cold.
Blood of ages
Sways this world.
