I listen to the tress,

Ignoring the cables and the wires.

It was a bright, perfect day

To avoid and sleep away.

I dreamed I was kissing

A parasite that was teething.

When I woke up,

We were both still breathing.

I startled the sleeping bugs

As I stretched like the slugs.

The snails have their shell.

I still have my Hell.

When a new day unfolds,

I turn it inside out.

Found a hole in the fabric

Of a worn reality.

Just a little rip,

Enough to tear it all apart.

I dont know what Im feeling,

But its bleeding, darling.

It's time to embrace it,

Before its all out of blood.

The snake has its tail.

I still have my Hell.

The last star died in the sky.

Its gonna be a good day, today.

Nothing can change my mind.

Its gonna be a good goddamn day, today.

And if tears must flow,

I will let them fall,

Just let them go.

The grass needs watering anyway.

Everyone has a story to tell.

I still have my Hell.

Ive been laughing.

Oh, cant you tell?

I laughed every time

You told told me I was free.

I laugh every time

I think of all the things I'll never be.

When a star falls from the sky,

I catch it in my Hell.

How beautiful it is

To see a loved one laugh,

About how easy it is for them

To cry.

Hit or miss on some lines, but you really have a knack at keeping the reader's interest throughout the entire poem - and ending it with a thought that's complete perfection. The last stanza couldn't possibly be improved upon.

This one hit me in my core. It left me with a warm feeling. The last stanza just left me with so many memories, the good overshadowing the bad. The smiling moments. It is marked by your nonchalant manner that you exhibit like "What kind of bug are you?" The bleeding emotions that you want to bleed dry while they are still there. I found this one to be very touching.
