Rape rears
it's ugly head
when I least
expect it

Someone I believed
would never hurt me
Will I ever be able
to trust again

Kacee in time. We all have had some we trusted
to hurt us. In time you learn to trust. Like I always I like reading what you write thanks for posting.

not again...
Just when I thought it was put away in the deep recesses of my mind...something sparked a memory...and here we go again...don't know if I'll ever be able to get over with it maybe...God help me...Kacee

sharp and stark, the pain in this. the thing that sings strongest is the sense of betrayal. It's always the people we should be able to trust implicitly and unconditionally that have the power to inflict the most damage upon us, both physically and emotionally. I'm not sure anyone really ever gets over something like this, like you said, you can get on with it, and that's probably the best chance you have. But it's still a pretty good chance. Thanks for posting this one.

Hi, How are you? It's been a while since I came on lit. I have been very busy; and yes my friend, it will take time. I too have been there, but learn to trust again, only this time, God put people in my life who I can trust and trust me.

I will be in Washington, DC on October 15-18, 2006. I was selected as one of the delegates for home state (SC) for the Nonprofit Congress National Meeting. Hope to bring back some good reports concerning Nonprofit Organization.

Will be reading upon some more of your work and others, just that every time I get to writing, my other work which is more important to me comes up and I have to take care of it. Keep up the grand work that you are doing here. Are you published yet? still is looking for that book girl.

Be Blessed,

Trauma is sneaky
My heart goes out to you but you are sharing your pain and that brings healing, eventually. It's not easy but keep writing about it - that is helpful form of therapy. It took courage to share. God bless you.
