You invaded my privacy, you stole my trust,
Should I forgive you, the Lord says I must.

But you read my thoughts, word for word.
This is totally crazy, totally absurd!

Who gave you the right, who said yes?
to open it up, read from my chest?

The thoughts you stole, the feelings laid bare.
incomplete they were, written for me to stare.

Then writing upon me, on pages not your own.
What are you doing, turning my heart to stone?

The line is drawn, you've gone to far
You can not do this, this can't be par!

I don't know what to think, or what to say.
forgiveness is not within me, at least not today.

I need time to simmer, time to fugure this out.
Try to reason what we are all about.

Only then will I know what to feel, and what to do.
Only then will I be able to know, how to forgive you.

So give me this time, I ask, no I demand
I will need it if we are going to continue to stand
