And today she returns they say.
Truth is, she's not coming back,
She left before they took her.
She fled a life of black.

She knew and she still does now,
It's not a joyous life she fled.
Emptiness that filled her and
The normal life she led.

Will she be home, will I see her?
It's been so long, she's been away.
She'll be in bed, but better?
She just returns they say.

She'll return
This reminds me a bit of my own life. Up and moving constantly. I try not to think too much about why I'm like that, but this poem gave me reason to consider it.
