I left my life,
So that I may find a new one
A infatuation totally of the mind,
Logical thought divorced from seasoned notions
Happiness comes to life.
I broke my life,
To seek peace
From a flawed love.

With escalating heartbeats that utter my fears
Overstated being and need.
I died a little, close down to the world.
I had found myself-
Not in my mind
Still I seek
Passion outside my will.

"I broke my life/ To seek peace/ From a flawed love." That's the whole essence of this poem for me. There's a matter-of-fact quality to it, like reciting symptoms of some illness, but underneath there's all this raw stuff boiling and bubbling. Got layers this one, deep, thanks for posting Bran, you always make me think.
