God has amazing powers.
That is not a surmise. Let me explain why:

I was pretty down this morning. My Mom was mad at me, and I was mad at being mad and tired of being so worked up. I was tired of obligation, tired of pressure, and tired of the sort of fear of losing important things just because they can't be taken for granted. I don't take anything for granted even if I rely on it.
Anyway, my emotional system, which is normally rock-solid even through its changes, was breaking down. So I took a roll of toilet paper since I didn't have any tissues and I sat down on the floor as I lamented over my state of mind. I broke the dam of my inhibitions and declared my lowly feelings aloud even though there wasn't anyone in the room listening to me-so I thought. I wanted to talk to God, but I didn't think myself to be calm enough.
But, just when I thought I couldn't be any more out of it and everything was at its worst, I heard something that seemed rather strange in regard to what I felt. "Come on, you're still good. Nothing awful is going to happen," is basically what I was hearing invade my thoughts. A very enlightening invasion, no doubt about it.
Then I realized that it was God. I knew it was; no one else-not even myself-could have been so reassuring. And I hadn't even been saying a true "Dear God:..." prayer, yet God still spoke.
I know that this sounds so strange, but I can assure you that it is true. I am, after all, a Christian, so how could I have been fooled? God doesn't play tricks!

So now I feel good: positive attitude! I am myself again.

The present and future are not about who you were in the past-rather, they are about who you are and who you will become.

Life surprises you! And I'm talking about the good stuff, because a bad surprise is not a surprise at all, it is just shock and horror. All of these good surprises, they are rewards, and the things that happen to remind you that you matter and that you should make yourself faithful so that you can be deserving of all of life's good surprises. Every wonderful surprise in life is a chance to flourish, so grab life by the horns-but don't ride, steer instead: life's horns are life's joystick. You can handle it, because your life's horns are made especially for you. If you don't give up, all of this will hold true and life will continue to surprise you.

God's Amazing Powers
ArsPoet,

I know just what you mean...God has heard it all...my thanks and my complaints...about others...not Him...He knows I have to get things out in the open to get rid of them...and I have had answers from the Spirit and in my dreams...I have been shown many things...but do not try to jam them down people's throats...because they wouldn't listen anyway...we can plant the seed but God must do the watering...Keep doing what you are doing...God knows your heart...Blessings on you...Kacee
