I saw that lonely monster in the night sky, again.
He was trying to read my mind,
but it was clouded and all out of context.
I was eating blood mushrooms,
as I lay in a green, fleshy field.
I watched a woman taking death by the hand;
She had starlight in her eyes and hair.
I could see her sleeping skull
resting behind a wall of tears.
Something almost human had screamed.
A clumsy body approached in the darkness.
Every step was like dried spinal cords snapping.
The naked, dismembered body of a young girl;
She was searching blindly for her head and hands.
The mysteries were quietly dying in the cemetery.
I traced her name in the gravestone
until my fingers bled.
I tasted her in the blood that I wiped onto my lips.
So many memories have been forgotten,
Like bones beneath the oceanís skin.
The murdered girl was digging her nubs into the cold soil;
Where a muffled scream was vibrating the Earth.
Everybody wants to be identified.
What do you see when you close your eyes?

Wow, that's amazing. I can see this dead girl. I can see her. and it makes me stare in starry-eyed awe. Truly you are an amazing poet.

Marquis de Baal
Yowie. I'll have to come back to this one later after my mind gets un-stunned.

Sometimes when I read your stuff I think, "This guy is a serial killer, or has read too many books about serial killers, or maybe I have read too many books about serial killers."

In a way, maybe you are a serial killer - a killer of dull images, dull language & concepts, because this is some stunning and exquisite writing.

Am I a pervert for finding this alluring? It's the mastery of language that draws me in.
