Illusions of the mind
Reflections of a time
The tired soul of life
Seeking redemption of plight

Eyes wide shut
Unveiling its secrets
Gazing at a mirror of water
Gleaming noting but past sorrow

The scent of a flower
Fading with each love shower
Confusion as the illusion turns dim
Pursued by the predicament of loves antonym

The path of the tree
Leading lost souls from troubled waters to the sea
Understanding of ones being is reached
As to love again, the heart we teach

Joy and laughter
As the manacles of mind are breached
A light shines though the darkness I once knew
Illuminating my ideals future clues
