I've lived my life examined
As Socrates says we should
I've learned Pascal's wisdom and
Content in empty rooms I've stood
I know to see instead of look
Because Picasso shows me how I could

But Descartes`, Aquinas, and Thomas Moore
Or all the philosophy teaching galore
Could not teach me like this man
Not how to grow, nor how to stand
Only he could teach these things I'm glad
Like how to love, and how to Dad

So to you I give my annual thanks
For all the lectures, and the spanks
Walked in your footsteps I have done
And I couldn't be more honoured to be your son

"All computers are garbage. They only contain answers." ~ Pablo Picasso
