I feel hollow today,
As if my mind and soul
Have morphed
Into a dry bubble.
Nothing goes out
And definitely
Not much is coming in.

Hopefully some rain
Will pour over,
Or a ray of light
Will pierce my shell,
Letting me out
And letting you in.

Intriguingly beautiful, this, if only because of its layers of meaning, insofar as fecundity/sterility can be understood in so many ways...
I get this idea that if sanity and insanity were county lines, this would be situated right smack in the middle...
