You should know that I love you,
You rate above all else.
Youíre very special to me,
Never thinking of yourself.

Every day I see you,
Though words are hard to find.
We have a father-daughter bond,
Like no other kind.

Your gentle words will soothe me,
Whenever I have a scare.
If anyone had wronged me,
I know that youíll be there.

When we are together,
Good times arenít far away.
You are the sunshine of my life,
You brighten up my day.

We share each others company,
With you Iím never sad.
I dedicate these words to you,
Because youíre the greatest dad.

Some people would write this off as just a rhyme for a fathers day card, but I think it's better than that implies (though it would work well in a card).
I can't really find anything to fault it, except maybe it's simplicity, but that's not necessarily a bad thing; it made for a fun read.
