The black of night begins to fall
As I stand alone, darkness suffocates my every thought
I cant breathe
I can barely move
I open mouth to pray only to find Id forgotten how
Panic and fear race through my veins
But I can only sit and wait
In the stillness of the night a single white dove approaches
Closer and closer it flies
Finally coming to rest at my feet
I try to pray once more
As I open my mouth I begin to speak
In tongues I forgot I knew
As I speak I look down to see
Blood spreading across the fallen doves chest
I feel the binds around me breaking
A breathe of life begins to fill my lungs
The darkness fades and I am alone again
But now
I am free

Thanks for taking the time to read my poems. Much love kiddos and I hope my poems meant something to you! Never give up on your dreams :)
