Silence maybe the answer to everything. I don't know how to break the silence. What if it makes it better to keep silent? How do you break the silence? Silence could be the answer to everything but, then again what is silence going to accomplish? I will sit in silence while he gets away with hurting me. I was silent when he was hurting me. All because I am scared of him so I will stay in silence so will he.

just break something

Interesting, silence solves nothing-it only tucks dirt under a carpet. This is why many people have ulcers because "they don't want to talk about it",
or whatever it is that is so fu**ing shameful. If you don't know how to break the silence just try breaking something like a vase, glass jar, or anything fragile against the wall. You’ll feel more empowered.

Enjoyed your piece,

"Silence"
From other things I've read of you, you are quite young. It's hard to pull weight of your own when you are "obligated". You are not obligated to be hurt, though. Never. Some people, even parents or other 'authorities' may seem like they have more rights, but it ain't true. You are entitled to not be hurt.
Your poem makes me very sad. I have kids. I've been abused. Silence will not help you baby.
But do what you need to do. Feel free to get in touch with me if you need help. I will help.

Shout in a Whisper
This piece was beautiful it almost defines me and my whole life. It's sad that fear makes us silent, but just writing this means you are shouting in a whisper.

Silence
I truly hope that this is just something that you,ve decided to write about, and not something that is taking place on a daily basis. I haft to be honest here because this is a very bad subject for me, Being a father to 2 step daughters in the past and a step father to one now. This subject gets my blood boiling. I like you as a writer. I like that you are expressing your feeling on here, because I know that that in itself is a very big step. But i hate the subject that you are writing about. I, Like many others have read alot of your stuff and it all seems to be along the same lines of abuse. And if it is actually happining, my heart is being ripped out and stomped on everytime I read one of your post and think that this is allowed to continue. If ever I can help, or even offer advice please dont hesitate to E-Mail me at anytime. This is why I have,nt commented on any of your stuff as of yet. I cant stand the thought of the hurt and the pain that you are haveing to endure everyday. I apoligize for getting carried away but again this is not a good subject for me.
