she rocks rocks and rocks

she rolls rolls and rolls
there is no stop

a pill a shot a shock
for more rocks and rolls

she's fucked, you know

she doesn't know

what day it is
what month it is

what it is

as it is

she rocks rocks rocks
back forth back forth

sun up sun down

shadows and fears
to roll roll roll

eye's wide shut

a pill a shot a shock
she's fucked, you know

I wish upon my falling star
I did not know

my eye's wide shut...

Don't rock with me...
thank you much...the respect and all...words spill from my heart, I don't recommend fucked, drugs, rock and roll to anyone. There is always much me in my words, inspiration does come from the lightest and darkest of places, sometimes neither can or will be kind...I suppose it's the cards we are dealt.

I keep my faith, and breathe, and pray tomorrow
brings the same...with of course, a nice big scoop of sugar...

take care,

rock me baby

My first thought was that song covered by Jimi Hendrix "Rock Me Baby", but being f***cked-up is no fun, not knowing what day it is. Pills suck; it is amazing what people will take for a cheap high. Don't do drugs or smoke.

Good read,

I'm smiling, this is good...friend, you know me better than most.

Do you get ME? You know I love ya' and I know sensitive heart you...(nobody heard that, she's really, "hard ass", "tough cookie", "gun slingin'
monster packin' Mama!")...(damn good shot, too.)

My friend, just imagine, Me...on my worst day, OK? That would be in a straight jacket, cooked(via medicinal electricity), that's after "their pill of choice", and their "smack" you Robin, Dr. on calls idea of, whatever mood "he's in"...

For the record, have not been "Zapped"...

it's one of those days, I could laugh or cry,
no cryin' today...this is a grateful day, for many blessings...

easter bunny robin

I hear ya; I'm in one those rags...woke-up to a block-out. About 18 square miles, acid rain and all the white noise stopped, but I just had a fleeting dream when that happened that got me thinking. Would you trust and Easter Bunny with your finances? I know its nuts, but those can't control them.

Good to see you online,

you know, I'm fortunate to have the luck of... Robin will not cry today because it's not rain.
Go figure? Lucky me, and I mean know it.
The troubles I have had, can't see my baby, I should be ECT'd, thank God, mine...and I mean IT.
I miss my baby. Anyway, cheerup, OK.

Easter Bunny jummped right over, it's alright.
Talk soon, ROBIN.

I don't take drugs, even smoke or drink. So I don't know what they feel like taking drugs. But one thing is sure..they don't have any control on their body..they also don't know what is happening around..for they don't remember aferwards...

I saw a very nice movie in which a girl is given drugs without her knowledge..when she regains her sense she doesn't know what had happened in those days..the suspense builds..u even think she might have been raped...even killed someone..I really liked this movie.

Robin, thanks for this excellent write !

Lucie & When...
respectfully, this is just, when...for You. I remember the day when, I chewed up the pitbull docs, then went to the restroom and cried...the sage LPN wiped my tears, with her sage words, she said, take care of the new butterfly...

under my wing, I took her to a child...
a tiny little boy, he had lost his toes...

I had prepared the RNbutterfly for the pitbullshitdocs bark, he towered over us both.

I questioned the dosage of medication, the new butterfly gave the shot and no one cried, including myself...My only lawsuit, sometimes animals must be put down...

Lucie, I miss, that peice of me...
Thanks, Much.

I read your latest poem
this afternoon. I found it disturbingly elegant.

Another 10...

reminiscent of e.e. cummings. Robin - I been there too. People who know me now and did not know me back then would never believe...this poem is an anthem.

speaking from experience, you have to wonder why? Is the road to long, the chasm too wide, why we would trade one miserable state for another. And it's only after you are, that you realize you were and then believe that you won't. Ever again! sort of a waste, isn't it?

Very good poem, Robinbird. I especially like the lines:

she doesn't know

what day it is
what month it is

what it is

as it is

Not too crazy about the very last line - it sounds too familiar, especially considering the fairly recent film, "Eyes Wide Shut."

There is more poetry to this post than just your poem. I find alot of real intense poetry in several of the "comments."

so nice to see you, sorry about the eyes wide shut, straight up, honestly "did not know of a movie, eye's wide shut"...interesting, at least for me...this was one of my sleepless nights, and it just felt like my eye's were glued open...
I'll check that movie out, for sure...

so good to see you, thanks much,

john, BW, Cree & rates
appreciate everyone who read this, and giving me your time...I have been somewhat spooked to come back here...Steve's poem Mental Trip, brought me back.

john...disturbing, elegant and a 10, shows your gentle heart.
BW...means much to me you sharing your experience with me, open heart you are, flattered the e e cummings relate. explained much that needed to be said, that others could benefit from, mostly myself, a true heart I feel.

charlie and chris always feel special to see you on my thread...

Peace and good health...

Wasn't a great movie but pretty trippy - not for prudes.

One of my favorite sayings is, "Well shut my mouth wide open!"
