A man, a malignancy, a despicable snake
The venom he spews is pure hate.
He carries a bible in his filthy hands yelling
Gather round sinners I�m a Christian man
Anointed by God to show you the way
You�re going to hell come judgment day.
He�s infected his family with his sick beliefs
Who follow him blindly like a pack of thieves
They gather at funerals of those bereaved
�God hates fags� their placards read
And I as a Christian am taught to love
So I pray for strength from the lord above
Oh what a hard road it is we trudge
For it is not our right, but God�s to judge.




Preacher Phelps is a real man. He and his church members, who mainly consist of his family, go to funerals of Aids victims using their right of free speech to display offensive signs. More recently he has begun going to the funerals of troops killed in Iraq. I live about 70 miles from Phelps (in a region known as the Bible belt) and had a little brother who died from Aids. Luckily Phelps did not protest his funeral. Here�s a link for more information:
