Good bye everyone,
Iím leaving for a while.
Mother said that life wasnít easy
But I tried, didnít I?

Deny the world, along with truth
And live in lies of emotional comfort.
Should have known that because angels have wings,
They always seem to fly away.
Their voices may be sweet to the ear,
But to the heart they echo,
A haunting yet beautiful song,
Even when theyíre gone.
Indeed they fly away

Good bye everyone,
Iíll turn off the lights.
No need to pray for me
Because I am beyond redemption.

Restless nights, turning and tossing
Endlessly trying to find a moment of peace.
Images and nightmares of demons revealed.
Along with faces of enemies and lovers.
Yet every minute of the hour I fear,
That waking would only be a routine
Starting the cycle again,
Spinning in motion, like the twisted wheel of time.

Good bye everyone,
Do you care to see me go?
Now the time draws nearer.
Yet tears fill my eyes.

Chasing dragons, chasing rainbows
Too many years of wasted youth.
Beyond madness or shameful sins
Beyond regret or blame.
Cold steel pressed against skin
The smell of fear conquers the air
The winds seem to mock me,
As chills pass by

Then suddenly, nothing but silence.
