Who would I be
If I wasn't me
When can I see
If I would be pleased

Wandering around, wondering why am I here,
waiting and praying for the way to be clear,
I see the path, but is it the right way?
I'm not sure it is, I should just stay.

Who would I be
If I wasn't me
When can I see
If I would be pleased

If I don't move forward,
if I take no chances,
I'll make no progress,
I will only regress.

Who would I be
If I wasn't me
When can I see
If I would be pleased

I can't dwell in the past,
there's no looking back,
except to avoid mistakes,
I hope I've made my last.

Who would I be
If I wasn't me
When can I see
If I would be pleased

Looking around to see where I am,
pondering and thinking, 'why give a damn?'
I know where I am, I know where I've been,
but where I am going, has yet to be seen.
