There is only so much one can do
At least that's what I'm told.
Not too sure I believe that,
I've seen it all before.
With the world a mess, war, corruptness and too much more,
It's even more important for people to be the most that they can,
All people, when will we learn?

I very much relate to what you're trying to say here. It's sometimes difficult to understand how so many people can be so apathetic to the world around them.
The poem evokes very well the feeling of trying to get people to change direction, while at the same time you feel like you're being pulled along yourself with the flow.
I enjoyed reading this. Thank you.

He said it first
Don't think I can add anything to what Spudley has said; his words mirror my thoughts on this as well.
