Her face is both entrancing and sweet,
Hand in hand we shared the world
But now left with frozen memories and images
of the love she once gave.

If only I could change time
To forsake the present and the future,
And live in dreams.
In a bubble built from tender moments
of cherished nights and joyous days.
I would be whole again.

Trapped deep in emptiness and silence
Drowning in this ocean of heartaches.
This feeling is an enigma.
To continue to love when piece by piece I crumble,
or to disapear, hoping to become a shadow.
Swallowing the tears to deny the past.
Perhaps it will be easier to run away,
leaving not a trace of dust behind.

She was my salvation
Now dreams are all that remains
The sound of her voice still beating in my head
while my heart stays silent
she is gone.
