Soar like an eagle
Thru the sky
The long white cloud
Bares no disguise

The mountains beckon
The morning dew
The lakes the rivers
reflect the hue

Of life so young
And yet so old
The taniwha
Who is so bold

Aotearoa the blessed one
may all your people
bask in the sun
And show the world everyday
Aroha is the only way

knowledge empowers

Reads like a song
This was a delight to discover! What musical lilt and I agree - the unusual words don't impede it at all. Give us more like this!
