I wish to be someone I never knew
I miss what I have never seen
A longing is not understood
But still undeniable
The wind's caress lends comfort
The sun's rays instill hope
The tree's leaves invite joy
And the world mourns the withdrawl
He pulls away
Lost and confused
Unable to feel the life around
She looks elsewhere for that connection
Alone and surrounded
Cut off from the party going on

A gentle caress
A teasing stroke
A feeling fulfilled
The touch is not the same
But feelings match so well
A regret will emerge from this path
But all they can see is now

------
Believe in yourself, for you are your best encouragement.

You Are a joy to read, simply because if I mearly skim, I get lost. And yes, my spelling is horrible, but, I never thought of a profreader. Thanks, I'll do my best.
