My last thinking breath,
as my thoughts start to slip
and the pain begins to subside.
I picture all of my life
in a moment, a flash beautiful
but all too quickly it dies.
I see all that could be
between you and me,
and my dreams been tossed in the dust.
I thank her for the time I've had
the laughs, the tears, in vain.
Call for you in a helpless voice
until I've exaserbated all air.
And when my voice has left my lungs,
and the tears dried from my face.
I'll long for you from dawn to dusk
never ceasing, excruciating pain.
