hey everybody...just a question here...why is it that since I started coming here again only 1 person has commented on any of my stuff? is it really that bad? I come here for the same reason everybody else does...I would really appreciate some feed back. It seems to get enough views, just no comments. It just leaves me wondering about my work that's all.

Really I would love to hear what you might think of any of it, is it terrible?
did you like it? what could have been better or taken out? anyways feel free to comment. if anyone is wondering why I might not say much in comments it's usually because whatever my opinion might be, usually someone else has allready said it. some times I don't know what to say. there are quite a lot of good writers here now in my opinion and it's good to have a place like this to come to.

Anyways thats it. have fun.

I am GLAD I found this blog of yours. It is good for you to ask that question too.
I've noticed not as many people comment or even post as they used to. I refuse to say this site is dead/dying as someone had said in a comment on a poem.
Instead its like others come and go, read a thing or two and maybe come back to comment. For who knows whatever reason.

I have read your posts, recent ones and when you posted earlier. I think I may have commented on one or 2. Not of late tho', to which I apologize.

I am a lazy reader/commenter. I come here to be entertained, rather than switching on the T.V. at any hour of the day, perhaps take in one or 2 poems. I really will make more of an effort to comment from now in, because I honestly believe its not just us feeling this way.

Maybe it is just the winter thing, but I have noticed changes. I've even tried to say to myself it didnt' matter if anyone commented and the "views" were good enough. But the reason I started posting was for feedback. (Months ago I removed some 130 poems I had in Lit. and did have lots of feedback on them. But going through some heavy personal things I removed them all and did start reposting with some new poems as well.......but.....)
So with about 30 poems I did have here and removed them all again because there were only 1 or 2 comments on some and others went into the "lonely posts". Made me wonder about my writing as well and now will only post a poem here and there. Sorrily my heart isn't in it as it was when I first joined.

I wanted you to know I've felt the same way.

Welcome back to Lit. Wally. I really need some muscle in my self esteem!! Lol.

That's just how it is these days. There are fewer people at Lit and fewer comments. It used to be that you had to come here 2-3 times a day just to keep up with postings and comments. Now you only need to drop by once or twice per week.

Still, the best way to get more comments is to let people know you're out there by reading and commenting on their work. By showing that you care enough to comment on their work, they'll feel more inclined to comment on yours. Good people to read: dareva, nae, Williamhill, Demeter, Peterpaulino, windchime, aw crap. It's a long list!

why is it...?
This is exactley why I left brand "X" and came here. I could not get any response on any of my works be it good or bad. I am new here and from the looks of it im hopeing I have finally found a home.
Hope to read more of yall,s works. And as always

wally5, no comments?

I'm sorry I haven't commented on your poetry when you were sweet enough to comment on mine. I will make it a point to return soon and to comment on your poetry.
