Have you ever heard of the tower of babble? If you haven't, then here are the basics. Many people got together to build a tower. This tower was to be so grand, so eminsly tall, that they would be able to enter heaven through this building. I am not going into the religious aspects of this but, acording to the bible, this angered God, so He made each person speak a different language. This brought to my mind a random thought. If we as a species could, way back then, build a tower that we thought to have rivaled God Himself, Just imagine what we could do if we could forget or differences today. Imagine if we each took it in mind to not belittle those of different beliefs, and those of diferent ethnicities. This may sound cleashay, but I believe that, no matter how hard the fight, as long as one man(or woman) still fights for change then change may yet come.

If the eye of justice must be that of a prejudice man, then why can't he at least be color blind.
And you may say that change has been made, and that we need to move on, but I disagree. Here is a prime example, A newspaper covering the katrina aftermath showed a black boy in his teens, wading through the water. He was carrying a case of coke and a bag of food. The caption said that LOOTING was prevelent in the city. The same news paper showed a white couple, also carrying supplies through waste high water. This caption said that the couple was FINDING SUPLIES.
But on the other hand, reverse descrimination needs to stop. I was watching the news some time back, and this guy created an all white coledge scolorship, as a dimonstration against previlant scolorships that support only sertain minorities. The scholorship was closed down and the man who started it was labled a racest basterd, even though he is of latin desent.
Actually it has gotten so bad in certain parts of the country (Mostly the south were I live currently) that even blacks cant be racest against blacks.
A sheriff in either Charleston S.C., or the surounding area, nearly forced to resign after he said(about a gange related death for which he was being criticised)"I can't be held responsible for every time one of these black son-of-a-bitches get themselves killed". The sheriff by the way, was one of the most succesful black sheriffs in S.C. history.
Another stupid thing i have witnessed, a kid in my fisics class was talking about the KKK, and he said something about a cross burning in his yard. The student was then taken out side and given a lecture on how racisim is bad, by, get this, a rich white man. I thought that was extreamly ironic.

So in conclusion, I would like to say that if true equality is to ever be reached we must stop critisising that which we se as outlandish, and that is a change that can only start in the mind of true revolutionaries.

To live ones life free from the constraints of judgement is truely bliss.

To those of you who actually read this editorial, it should be flagrently obvious that the spelling was not my main concern. After i submitted it, however, i re-read it. So i think it is safe to say that if i, the author, begain to think myself of lesser inteligence because of what i have writen, then i must revis this as soon as i can. Until such time, please look at the message, not the words.

Crackpot; you almost hit it square on the old nail head. Except, if I might suggest, the portion where you talk about the young black kid carrying croceries, he is looting, and the old white couple, there are scrounging...

Well, take if from one old guy that been around too many times. Whenever the media is involved, their first job is to create any kind of controversy they can, such as what you saw in print. Controversy sells....

I believe that without a media that perpetuates its own sensationalism, a lot of our social problems would cease to exist.

We only have "too many failing schools", and "black scholarships" and "white extremists" and "lilly white elitists" because the media made up these descriptives, and many more.

When I see the picture of the black kid wading in water with croceries, no matter what the news print says, I think "poor damn kid doesn't deserver this".

Anyway really good thought provoking, misspelled on purpose, in yer face but in a nice way editorial. I get it, man. I think most of us do.
