Me and My Jacques Cousteau Hat
Go everywhere together cos
we`re expats....you see
The Sea you say?
Aye the Sea,it`s the place we most like to be...
Beside the Sea,
On the Sea,
In the Sea...but
Under the Sea,especially.
Swimming with the Fishes, the Whales and the Snakes,I hold my breath for as long as it takes....

To dive under the sea
is to enter a world far
more mysterious than anything
you can imagine.We are like
spacemen conquering the outer
limits of the Galaxy.Every creature
we meet is an Alien Race, some
remarkably benevolent many more
dangerous....*

One day I`m hoping to meet King Neptune and
I heard he`ll offer me a fortune but
in return he`ll want my Jacques Cousteau hat and
I`ll tell him "You can`t have that".
He`ll puff out his cheeks and
bang his tail on the floor but
I`ll not give in because it was given to me
by him,the man with the baggy eyes and
pointy chin.

I heard the Calypso was sold or maybe
sunk in a storm but for me it sails on and
I`m at the helm...Jacques is beside me pointing the way..
Tomorrow I hope is a diving kind of day.

*please read this part in a jacques cousteau accent.....thankyou

------
The wise man as he travels through life enjoys the scenery to either side, since he knows he will not come this way again. The road ahead winds back and forth, over the hills and far away, and who knows where it will lead?
