I have set a writing goal for myself - one article and one query per week. It doesn't sound like much but when you are juggling everything else, it can be a challenge.

I made some time yesterday to do some lengthy writing and got sidetracked looking for a story that I had saved on one of my diskettes. I spent two hours going through 20 diskettes only to discover it wasn't on a diskette at all - it was saved on my computer. Of course, if my diskettes were properly labelled with the entire contents of each listed clearly, I wouldn't have this problem.

The task of going through each diskette to clarify that all the contents are listed is too overwhelming and time consuming so maybe if I start fresh, from this day onward, I will be able to find what I'm looking for in a relatively short time.

One good thing did came out of sifting through all those diskettes, I discovered some pretty good articles that need some minor polishing. I will add yet another task on my ever growing list of things to do!

Been rushing trying to finish reading Mitch Albom's book, Tuesdays With Morrie. I am enjoying it immensely. Last month I read his acclaimed novel, Five People You Meet in Heaven. I also really enjoyed this book. I found both of his books to be intriguing, unique and something out of the ordinary. I look forward to reading more of his work.
Unit next time....
