An escape was at the edge
An end was in mind
An easy turn was to gain
An ebb to sink was hidden.

Weeds in opeque water,
Water so quiet -
Was waiting to quech a thirst;
Was it not a necessary waste?
Waves didn't know.

Dipping in was mere a matter of time,
Dears were all away,
Deaf hours was inking damn,
Doubt was awake to see the departure.

So fell a leaf,
Shy of seeing a close scene like this.
