Author's Note:
an excerpt from Innocent (a collection of poems in progress) Found poetry, to be more specific. Each line was not sought out by the author but rather sought the author. Moments, words, & symbols of innocence: involuntarily recorded and now repackaged in individual themes for your own consumption. Enjoy!

A MESSAGE FROM SILENCE
ALONE WITH THE MOON
WELL-LIT CLUSTER OF PINES

"...with a shot of gin
a night of rowdiness
stars fall from the sky

Drinking heavily from sky's thunder
heart shattered by lightning
I burst into laughter"

Lino, Lost
I see Bill got here first. Your poem is short but I like what it says. Not sure of meaning or is it up to reader? I read what you said about found poetry and thats so beautiful . Im trying to look at writing that way. Why all caps?

A Map for Lost
Bill & Legs thanks for stopping by to read & comment.

Legs, I'm pleased to hear you like the idea of found poetry/writing. It found me sort of the same manner these 'moments of innocence' find me now and then. In a way it reminds me of love: one really shouldn't go searching for it but rather it will find you.

Enough of the cliche, each piece does have a meaning or theme but I hope that all my readers find their own meanings or moments of innocence within these short poems. (also the 'ALL CAPS' are strategic...but are they really all that detracting?)
