For What It’s Worth

Poetry has moves
With the written word
From the poetic soul
Words are woven by
Writer’s hands all
Caught up in their
Pen bleeding ink!

Never give up your
Words, don’t let it
Slip away like love
Sometimes it is hard
To recapture… but we
Sit in awe –

(Yesterday no longer
What we are today or
The next day)

Some of us poets, we
Write out what is
Inside of our soul
For some their tears
Fall silently and no
One hears them

Poetry has moves
With the written word
From the poetic soul
Words are woven by
Writer’s hands all
Caught up in their
Pen bleeding ink!

Bringing voice to a
People who need to
erase all fears, tears,
And pain and silently
Fix this world with
Their poetic words

our pens bleed....Ink,
What an ironic way to exspress writing poetry, cool play on the words, and truth in,"Letting it slip away like love". It's our passion, our moment, our tool for healing given to us by God.
It's all true the wods spoken here, ever reminding us to push forward.
Thank you jeannie, I really needed to hear this.
Now about that book you asked of, I am working on it Girl!!!!!!!!!!!
You are inspiring. La'Shea.
