Hiding in this cave

My pain and me

The enemy of my nightmare's

That lingers from dawn till dusk

To haunt my sleep again

Why me?

I peek through blinds

At the sunlight that blinds

From the security of walls

That offer entrapment that gives

Seclusion and reclusion for weary eye's

From noisy beasts on the outside

Ready to devour

Feeding on me and my pain

Like a bestseller waiting

To be written, read and digested

I fear the disdain

Of my pain

In your eyes

Hiding in my cave

Peeking through blinds

Lovely
Robin;
I believe in Angels, but I call them my best friend(s). Give peace a chance...

Robin, I enjoyed this read a lot. Ask and it shall be given unto you.

Blessings,
