Love falls like a leaf on a windy autumn day
It floats, it lingers, it finally hits the ground
It buries itself within the miles of leaves which are the problems surrounding our lives
It buries and camouflages and blends with the crowd, until it cannot be found
They say love cannot be captured; if you don't love yourself in whatever it is you do
But then love is unconditional; true lovers will always help each other through
Pure abandonment from being human, for having a mind that's completely distraught
Or leaving it be until everything is sane; pull your socks up, until then we're locked out, and fix your needless fault
Love cannot be captured; it's always something to be set free
Love will be the smile and the light of shining grace
Love will be the only thing worthwhile; love will be the saviour
Love will be the warm, lone tears when you cry alone at night
Love will be the impaler; love will be the enemy
But life will never give up on you; if you take that second chance
True love will never be a set reality; don't wait for it, it's only worth a glance
While love is a flower that once was in bloom, now the black petals are falling
But in these times the only thing we need to grasp is the force and hold of life
Will I ever be the one who can hold life's hand?
True love is a lucky star that zooms quietly by; catch it if you can

Love is the mountain I cannot climb
Love is virtual reality
Love is the bee which always stings
Love is the plane that has no wings
Love is the salt water surrounding a thirsty crew
Love is merely a fantasy
If love and trust go hand in hand
Then you know I love and trust you with all I am

A treasure unhidden from the world
And yet so unreachable
I swim to the depths to find the sunken treasure
And before I realise it; I'm drowning
Climb to the tops of the mountain of hope
And once again I'm falling
Flown to the great heights of life's beauty
But the wind forced me in the other direction
Trying to pray for a day in the sun
But everyday is yet another thunderstorm
Or cyclone that spins me out of control
Whenever I think of you

It's not enough
You need to go
And I need you to stay
I'll let you go, either way
Calling out in a deserted forest
Cannot find your hand
The time has parted us too long now
There is no way to ever go back
And though the journey creates healing
The journey is always so long
And there are the times when I long for your words to seal the cut in my heart
Why are you so precious to me?
Why is it so hard to be strong?
Time has no brakes, millions of lives it takes
And it's not too long before we realise
The journey is the past, it's a memory, it is gone

Took the time today to release this pain
Took the time to look your way...
The only real smile upon this face today
And sitting here in complete disallusioned awe
How DID this happen again?

What is time? Cause time with you is everything
Time grabs you by the shoulders and spins everything into oblivion
But today...
Time grabbed me by the shoulders and showed me how much I love you

Time will grab you; oh it will snatch you; it will shake you down to the ground
And just when you get up again, then the cyclone will carry you through
Through the long, winding tunnels of the past
With memories as painful as a stepping on your life's broken mirror
Cutting your feet with the shards of glass
He cried and cried until his eyes were dry; he swore, he laughed, he choked
He lost her to his sadness, but she was buried deep within
He came across her photograph in the dead and still of night
His pain subsided, he could not hide it and for once in his day he smiled
Love is no longer a living hell when you look into her eyes...
Time will grab you by the shoulders and show you how much you love her

Love is the river in which I drown
This bee sting is inflamed with poison
Mayday, mayday we're crash landing on our holiday
And I'm drinking my way into a salty grave...
I wish there was a chance to hold your hand
But I know that's not possible because of who I am
You blame everything on love, but love is not to blame
Life is the river in which you were drowning
Life is the river in which you drowned

Time fades the past; and memories don't last forever
They'll keep the thoughts they want to see; that doesn't include what you became to be
How did you get this way
You're ruining life for everyone
You should be thankful everyday will soon be the past
And their memory won't last forever

As you sit back in your rocking chair; complaining about how love left you
You forget the moments that were once here; the moments that have now passed
And all you see is darkened surrounds; which does not blend with the children playing below on the grounds
I hate love now; love is better off dead
You can live in your reality; the cynical frail pessimist
Choking your way into eternal bliss
And the kiss of death is the only one you'll kiss
Love is the river in which we are saved
It doesn't even have to be reciprocated
And when life is empty and there are no feelings left
All you need to do is feel her again
I will always regret not getting over you
That is the case, it seems
But I will never regret falling in love with you
Not ever; not tonight

Autumnmist - The Last Has
This which you said last has blown me away, Autumnmist, in between some lines there are those sting that I couldn't quite bear that I sit here reading ou almost uncomfortably. I thought this would be a bore because of the title and the starting lines, Ho-hum, love again. It's something that even I get tired of writing so I wrote about dragons and green raindrops and invisible cars LOL! But as I kept on reading and I noticed the almost magical rhythm of lines following each lines, and the subtle, inconstant rhyming, I managed to stick with it, something that I am very thankful about. Don't worry, the fifth line could already grab someone!

This is excellent, wonderful work! I'll keep this one certainly. It's one of a kind. Dragons and invisble cars are not an escape, LOVE again could be for someone who is creative as you are. Cheers!
