The Rain Brews

The rain beats
Against my pane,
Ceiling, cars, and
It bounces on the
Trees, and the limbs
Bough gracefully
Rain is just --
Like coffee, the
Rain brews, and
Brews until it stops!
After the passing rain
I can smell the aroma
of the green grass...

Perfect comparison
I love everything about this. It is short but says it all. I love the rain and how soothing it is (without thunder). I love to walk in the rain with a little Bailey's in coffee... walking under the branches of the trees to see that life doesn't stop when it rains but comes out to play. I think it washes away all of the stess in my life. Funny thing is I can never find anyone to go with me.... I thought no one got it but you seem to! Thank you so much for this one.

Varigated song...
I can smell each drop... I can hear the jingling sound... I can see it vignette while having a hot cup of coffee.... But I cannot help praising this piece..

Lucie, Robin, DonnaJ, Myth...
Thanks to you all for your kind and warm words...

Lucie; Snow, oh yes! I love snowy days here in Greenville, South Carolina whenever it snows.

Robin; Yes it does stimulate the senses indeed.

DonnaJ; You are absolutely right! Rain sometimes can release stress, or whatever is joggling the mind. I walk in the rain sometimes to just clear my mind. and the breeze, freshness is like calgon, it "takes me away" and adding a good cup of coffee with it. Thanks for understanding and going with me there.

Myth; Thanks for the comment, your email is what got me here. The Lord awaken me so early in the morning. It is 4:24am; Some of my work I have not commented on because I am so busy sometimes. Now, isn't that something, the juggling sound, and great smell of them both.

Blessings to all,
