~~An Angel At My Side

Knowing in my heart he gives me protection

And even though I think my time has not yet come

He sends an Angel over here by my way ---

I know that he has not forgotten, and will not be devastated

He has not abandoned me nor have he neglected me

Jesus had suffered and was tortured for all of my sins

Iíve won the victory! There was a time when I was lost

I want turn back; I have come too far! I have no regrets

Did not leave lamenting, but I left rejoicing!

C and B and?:
these sounds like they are from Bush and Clinton campaign ads:

He has not abandoned me nor have he neglected me

"Jesus had suffered and was tortured for all of my sins!" - and now you are free to sin? I am always asking you about utility of this logic. Or is it just for sounding good?

"Iíve won the victory!" -- what else- nobody wins the loss

"There was a time when I was lost" and now?

"I have come too far! I have no regrets" rhetorically speaking, but what do you tell us?

The following, however, is full of undecided, uncertain, fuzzy fence-sitting:

I want turn back; -as in " I want to" or "I won't"?

"[]Did not leave lamenting, but I left rejoicing!"

so who's in the square brackets? You don't sound sure, but sure rejoicing in this Heisenberg's Uncertainty.

When you are where I am in the Lord and know what you have to go through and still go through then you are suffering with the Lord.

You will never understand, I cannot sit here and tell you how you feel about God or what God has done for uyou or anyone else, only you can be a testimony of yourself.

If you are not going through anything, then you don't know what it is like to have the victory!

It takes someone who knows what I am talking about and have been through the fire who understands what this is all about. if you don't then I cannot explain it to you. God sends miracles everyday and I stand on His promises.. whether I am going through HELL or doing fine, knowing that He is there. I praise Him in the good times and bad times. If you have read the Bible then it tells us to never forget His benefits whether good or bad.

Teflawn on the Crawss
It's like "I throw rhetorical statements, and accept them as they are, because you haven't been through what I had to go through."

Holy suffering does not make a poem if you have to preface it by a footnote and not through using such a great thing as Poetic License.

That's why poets with unusual experiences use artistic devices, not slogans.

Thank you once again for your wise comments... Have a blessed day. I'm going to church tonight to bring the year in praising God...

We should never forget that an angel is always by our side, whether we good times or very rough times. These words of encouragement strengthen our belief, when in doubt. It's so easy to turn back but when a person's inner soul speaks to them, they realize their faith is stronger. And for those unblievers, well, ya'll have angels watching over you too. A good message for us all. Thank you. PaulaAnne
