I've taken a new lover in an old friend.
Thick like mud, his eyes crept steadily for so many years.
Through metamorphosis like the butterfly, he changed.
An awkward silouette now beautiful and expansive.
Strong and lovely.
To beat on his chest, the drum beat of desire, a welcome change.
Entangled in his web of hair, like billowing smoke.
I smell a lust that burned for over a decade.
