No wrinkles make,

Time's march apparent -

Nor lines

For there are subtler signs.

Tell tale changes

As the toddler redefines

through boy, to young man.

Following natures best laid plan,

Albeit frozen now

And free from ageing-

The riptide of seasons passing,

And time's torrent raging

Held forever by an unbreakable lock,

You are beautiful-

You're

my

stopped

clock...
