With several other people, including pbagosy and leigh, I started one of the pioneering e-publications of original literature on the BBS scene and then on the internet (the latter began in 1999). It was called 'Candelabra'. Later we renamed the staff, as an association, 'Candelabra Productions' and renamed the e-zine itself 'Ascension', and tomorrow it sees its tenth year since foundation. It has published hundreds of poems and dozens of stories, and not a few nonfiction articles, particularly reviews of music and even sociopolitical commentary, all right from the very beginning.

Originally inspired by the similar e-zine 'Soulz at Zer0' (and for some years now The Stranger from SaZ has been on our staff!), it has diversified somewhat from being simply a venue for erotic horror to... whatever we damn well wanna write.
However it's worthwhile to point out that at CND: Ascension, I can print stuff that I can't print at Lit.Org. After all, CND is where I began as 'The Alienist' (ala the Kaleb Carr book of the same name).
Also I've written my last Dark Vignette, and it will be readable in this special issue, along with seven pieces of poetry and a special editorial. I am, after all, the original editor.
I invite everyone to check out Candelabra: Ascension at:
Also, expect our gala 10th anniversary issue, edited and web-authored as always by our very own Nightshade, on the 13th of December 2005. In fact look for us every 13th of the month. We're as dependable as... well, death. And taxes. Ahem.
