When I finally reached the journey's end
I found it to be as I remembered
I returned for healing, a heart to mend
It was lovely as my dreams had rendered

The pain had been bearable, not cliche
For it is stunning, what humans can bear
Uncomfortable indeed, but back today
Sweet release from an ubiquitous snare

Free to live and to love as I see fit
Free from sorrow, consuming and bitter
Abhoration no longer to be writ
This, my soul, at peace and all a'glitter

What joy, what happiness, for those who roam
When they finally return to their sweet home

I've been trying to change my avatar for four years...
