Tears and anger.
Frustration unfettered.
Road traveled again.

Repeats of history
traveled ounce again.
Those in harms way.

Be not against Soldier Blue.
Choices made were not theirs to make.
No bags of doggie dodo.
Tossed in fanatic haste.

huh?
I have to say, I was rolling right along in the poem, understanding the ideas, and then the line
"no bags of doggie dodo"
stopped me cold.... it seems a rather immature line in the midst of a very mature poem.....breaks the thought pattern and the rhythm, or the "groove" I was in in reading it....
It just seems there must be some better word choices to say the same thing?
Other than that an enjoyable read.

Doggie Dodo
Hi Jewell, Thank you very much for your comments.
I interupted the Flow on purpose to get you to think about the imature act of Tossing Dog shit at a Veteran. This happened to myself and a number of other veterans upon our return home.
You are right there are a number of other ways that I could of achieved this. But I thought this would be most effective. It stopped you right in your tracks. to think about what I was saying.
Thank you again for your comments. Ano'wara
