PainÖ to some people feels good,
To some it can feel very bad,
For some itís an expression of tolerance,
For some itís a horrible experience,
But for most people itís a sign of life,
That if you feel pain you know youíre alive.

a little simplistic
I can see where you're trying to go with this, and it's an interesting idea that's definitely worth a poem or two.
Trouble is though, I found it to be a little over simplified here. Perhaps I'm not reading it correctly, but it just seems a bit flat, and it gets to the conclusion without really challenging me, which I would hope for given the subject matter.
Sorry. :-)

I, for one, disagree with Monsieur Spudley. The poem is simple, surely, but that is what makes it unique. While he mentions that he wasn't challenged because the poem rushed to the ending, I see that the last two lines do that perfectly well-you exlaim pain is a sign of life though many a people consider it a sign of internal death. To take a serious subject matter-far more than six lines can exceed-and explain one's true identity upon it so briefly and easily, is, by chance, a style worth recognizing.
