Chardon Ohio

it used to be just me and my mom-
now it is just me.
were aging just fine.
I live in California-
and she lives in my native ohio.
we used to live in a log cabin-
no phone lines or electricity
and some pretty scary spiders-
my earliest memories of true happiness.
the woods seemed like-
the perfect place for a child to be-
so fresh and pure and innocent-
whenever I eat red raspberries I think of that time.

it used to be me and Bridget.
now were just alone drifting through life-
in pain and pleasure-
we are aging just fine.
we live in California.
we used to be something-
free together-
alone in orgasm-
some pretty scary times.
my most fond memory is you.
being with you was like being with me.
comfortable and drastic-
serene and chaotic-
Alone with everyone.

Now that I have started to age faster-
You and the spiders don't seem so scary anymore.
