When I canít find the words
to say what I mean
Youíre the one
that understands me

When I hit rock bottom
and canít go on
youíre the one
that pulls me to my feet

Whenever I need
someone to talk to
Youíre the one
that is there for me

When I feel
I can take on the world
Youíre the one
that is enjoying it with me

Youíre a true friend,
I just hope
you know
you can rely on me too

Friends
Friendship is based on love,
Love is based on trust,
trust is loosely based on faith.
Do you have faith in me?

PamHkyle, this piece is moving and strong. It is a great example of how to use simple words to explain complex gyrations of human emotion. I like the way it ends so loosely leaving enough space for anyone and everyone to connect to the piece in their own way.

great read.
