Way up high in a tree,
There lives a boy, His name is Twee

He was just a litle baby,
When his mother said bye,
And left him in the forest,
Where she thought he would die,
But when the wind started to blow,
And the clouds began to rain,
A mother bird found him,
And thought it was a shame.

She nudged him through the mud,
And then up a tree,
And named him after her favorite song,
The song was named Twee
She made a giant nest,
So the baby could sleep,
And found the baby worms,
So the baby could eat,
She tended to him always,
Making sure he was alright,
And always slept next to him,
On scary, stormy nights,

And as time drifted by,
The baby sure did grow,
He’s the boy named Twee,
All in the forest know,
If you really want to find him,
You’ll go up really high,
That’s where Twee’ll be
Still learning how to fly.
He’s pretty good at falling,
At landing, he’s the best,
Mother Bird just keeps hoping,
Watching from her nest.

When the other birds laugh,
And point and chirp him names,
He doesn’t pay attention,
He just keeps on doing the same,
Climbs back up the tree,
And screams to the sky his name,

“Twee! Twee!”
But poor Twee still cannot fly today.

And yet it doesn’t stop him,
Cause deep down he is a bird,
And one day he’ll fly higher
Than anyone ever heard.
So keep an eye out for him,
You might catch him going by,
Screaming his name out to the clouds,
Flying way up in the sky.
