I saw Death—Playing—
She was Running through the woods
Like a feral Horse—Neighing—
Ignoring the world of shoulds—

And I—for my Part—
Enjoyed watching her Game—
Until—It reached my Heart—
And to the List of death—my Name

Was added—in Ink—
And Death did send
Me—with a Wink—
To my beginning’s end—

Persephone- I liked use of "feral," as well.

You may have overdone caps a bit. See: "Time and Eternity."...I'd only cap: "DEATH," in piece this short. Was reference enough for me.

One of my fav...
...pieces by Emily. This was a good spin off. I remember having to do something similar to this in one of my Writing classes in College. Very nicely done. I'm sure Emily would have approved.
