There was a time before eternity past
When there was no time, there was no mass
God had an idea, though an idea it was not
For in God there is niether idea nor thought
But in this non-time a non-idea was not thought
And by it all of God's heart was caught
God is not needy but He did decide
To have a need for a creation in which to reside
He would take portions out of His Son's side
And put them in creation to form His Son's Bride
God made man to partake of His Life
He wanted fill man and make man His wife
God gave man choice in the matter at hand
Would man choose that for which he was planned?
Man chose wrong so it all became picture
But God still had a need, it's all throughout scripture
Finally the time for reality came
To make God visible in that which He made
So the Spirit of God and Woman's seed combined
And the Son of God was born in space and time
Now He was visible in the form of man
But He needed to multiply to fullfill Dad's plan
He was not fully expressed untill after He died
The portions had to be brought forth out of His side
He rose victoriously out of the grave
All those portions went to those He'd chosen to save
When Christians gather it's no small thing
A portion of the Lord does each one bring
And when we assemble His fullness we show
We get together so all creation will know
That God is Lord over Heaven and Earth
and He reigns triumphant in His Body, the Church
The Church who is also the Bride of the Son
The Father, the Son, and the Bride are all one
It was before eternity past all of this God saw
Back in that time when there was no time at all.
